Saitek Gamepad P3000 Driver
The P worked with all my titles during testing.
However, that does not mean that it will work with every game. PC pads can be finicky and wireless products can be finicky.

We cannot guarantee that the pad will work with your entire library. Saitek does have decent customer support, so you can always contact them regarding specific issues.
The P package includes the controller, the base, and two small batteries. Two batteries means that one is always charging and one Saitek Gamepad P3000 always active. Considering that a full charge only takes about an hour and a full charge lasts about eight hours, you really shouldn't ever be out of commission.
Saitek uses this configuration on a few of their wireless products and I think it's the best scheme going. Despite the misleading product pictures, the controller itself will not charge while it's sitting on the base.

It can be placed on the base, but that's simply for neat storage. The base connects to your computer through an available USB port.
It pulls enough juice through the interface that a separate AC adapter is not necessary. I would have liked to see an optional AC adapter for those times that your computer is off, but this Saitek Gamepad P3000 a minor issue.

It also would have bumped up the price. A small red light turns off when Saitek Gamepad P3000 is complete and a small green light tells you when operation is possible.
Lastly, an A-B toggle switch on the bottom of the base determines which channel you're using. Saitek suggests trying both and seeing which has better communication. More importantly, you can have two controller in the same area by putting one on channel A and one on channel B. The controller itself looks like a combination of all other decent Saitek Gamepad P3000 pads, with a little extra Dual Shock 2 thrown in.
You have two analog sticks both of which can be depressed and used as additional buttonssix action Saitek Gamepad P3000, a shift button, two huge shoulder buttons, and a D-pad.
Saitek P Review - IGN
A small cavity on the back of the controller holds the battery. What really makes the controller look like a Saitek product is the small LCD in the middle of the pad.
There's also a battery icon that blinks when you're about to run out of juice. Two small buttons below the LCD control said variables. Saitek Gamepad P3000 only downside to the LCD is that the battery bar has only three segments and is very unreliable. Thankfully, it gives a Saitek Gamepad P3000 low reading, so you won't run dry before you expect to.
I've had the LCD show one bar and start blinking and then revert to fully charged 30 minutes later. The pad feels very light in your hand, mostly because the battery is very small and there are no heavy vibration motors.
It's also designed with ergonomics in mind, which is almost a trademark of Saitek. The handles spread out slightly and eave your fingers and thumbs right where they should be.
Saitek Gamepad P3000 with smaller hands might find the pad too big overall, but I found it perfectly sized. Your hands stay in place thanks to flush mounted rubber coating that wraps from the tops of the handles all the way to the bottoms of the analog sticks.
